Chicken Rush

Chicken Rush, a 5x5 western ways slot

On the reels, wins form as ways rather than fixed lines, on a 5x5 grid with a western theme. A way must start on reel 1 and run at least three cells long, and wins read from left to right. Three matching symbols is the fewest that pay. Its symbols include two roosters, a white eagle sheriff, a revolver, a roast chicken and the cards from A to 10.

Three to five Bonus symbols start the free spins, giving 5, 7 or 10 spins. Once the spins start, the reels become closed wooden crates. A WANTED poster names one symbol, chosen at random in advance, and the crates open to reveal it, extra free spin tiles or multiplier tiles. In the main game, a Wild can also carry a multiplier.

Shows how each bonus starts, what it gives you, and how the crates change the reels.

Three Bonus symbols just landed

The reels turn into closed crates when 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols land, giving 5, 7 or 10 free spins. A WANTED poster shows one symbol picked in advance. Each crate can reveal that symbol, extra free spins or multiplier tiles. It can be bought for 50x bet.

Which high symbol will the poster pick?

Closed crates replace the reels, and a WANTED poster picks one high symbol in advance. Opened crates show that symbol, extra free spins or multiplier tiles, as in Bronze. Bought for 100x bet, Silver runs at Medium volatility and 97% RTP.

Base gameHigh-symbol crates

Double Shot with five tiles

Reels turn into crates, and the WANTED symbol comes only from high symbols. If five multiplier tiles are collected, the count doubles to 10 and they shoot to symbols on the field twice instead of once. Bought for 300x bet, it has Very High volatility.

Ways wins with WILD multipliers

Symbols land on a 5x5 grid, up to 3125 ways. A way must start on reel 1 and be at least 3 cells long, and wins read left to right. WILD (main game only) substitutes any symbol except Bonus and carries a random x2, x3, x5 or x10 multiplier.

What happens between the bet and the payout?

Wondering how the bet, wins and free spins connect before the first spin

  1. Stake before the first spin

Set a bet between A$0.20 and A$50 and the 5x5 grid is ready to spin. BET WAYS decide how many ways can pay, and wins scale with the stake you chose.

  2. Chicken Rush, left to right

A win starts on reel 1 and reads left to right across the grid. Each way needs at least three cells in a row, and up to 3125 ways are possible.

  3. Check the x2 to x10 multiplier

Wild symbols land and stand in for any symbol except Bonus. Each Wild carries a random x2, x3, x5 or x10 multiplier.

  4. Land three Bonus symbols

Three, four or five Bonus symbols start Bronze Free Spins with 5, 7 or 10 spins. The reels then turn into closed wooden crates, and a WANTED poster names the symbol.

  5. Set your limit first

Each spin on the 5x5 grid is random, so the result of a session cannot be known in advance. Choose your limit before the first spin and stop there.

What no spin can promise you in advance

Bonus symbols land on the reels at random, so nobody can say in advance when the Bonus Game will come. Three, four or five Bonus symbols trigger the free spins, and each spin decides whether they appear. Past spins do not change what the next spin brings. The 97% RTP describes the return over very many rounds, so the result of one session stays random whatever the RTP.

Each spin lands symbols on the 5x5 grid. The RTP version we run for Chicken Rush appears only in the game rules, so read that section before you play. The return tables on this page are worked out for A$100 staked, so the money figures are easy to compare.

A win on the reels can pay up to x5,000 of the bet. At the A$50 maximum bet, that is A$250,000. That ceiling is reached very rarely, and nothing on this page can say when it will happen.

Two Ways to Play

Test the reels before depositing any money

Many players want to see how the reels behave before any cash goes in.

The demo spins the same 5x5 grid with play money and pays no real money. The real game needs an 888 Casino account and a player aged 18+.

Before the first spin, not after a loss

Players must be 18 or older. In Australia, call the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858, or register with BetStop, the national self-exclusion register.

Keep spending inside your budget

Set a budget for the session before the first spin, and stop when it is gone, even if the last spin felt close.

Leave at your chosen point

Choose your stopping point before the first spin, and keep to it after a win as well as after a loss.

Capped losses, not open play

Use the deposit and loss limits in your account settings so that a bad run cannot take more than you planned.

Step away when it drags

If the game stops being fun, take a break or self-exclude through BetStop, and do not return to chase a loss.

Five questions, plain figures

Know the stakes before the first spin

Most players worry about cost and limits, so the answers below give exact bets and buy prices.

How do free spins start in Chicken Rush?

Three, four or five Bonus symbols on the reels start the free spins, which give 5, 7 or 10 free spins. Each round then shows closed wooden crates, and a WANTED poster names the symbol the crates try to reveal.

What is the bet range for Chicken Rush?

Each spin costs the bet you choose, from A$0.20 up to A$50. The paytable uses A$0.40 and the example tables use A$2, so those figures show how payouts scale.

What is the maximum win on Chicken Rush?

The maximum win is 5,000 times the bet. At the A$2 example bet that comes to A$10,000, and at the highest bet of A$50 it reaches A$250,000.

Can I try Chicken Rush in demo mode first?

Yes. The game runs with FUN credits, which are play money. The purchase examples use a 0.20 FUN bet, so the costs can be seen before any real money is staked.

Can I buy the bonus in Chicken Rush and what does it cost?
